I have a 88 325iX some of you guys on this board know my car. I can post pics of it later if you like. About 4 months ago timing belt broke and bent a valve. So I decided to spruce up the head schrick cam springs new everything. 3 grand later I put 1500 miles on it and at a stoplight a rod broke. So the engines bottom end is toast. I am in the process of removing the head to check for damage to it. And to sell it at least. Am I in better shape to part it as is or put a salvage engine in it or sell it as is or part it? Car is in excellent condition.
