Hey there I need a transmission for a 1985 325e. Where should I look or does anyone have one who lives in the bay area??!! Someone please help I need my car back on the road!

I did but they all are mostly all gone through so can't check how the shifting is and they all have 200+ miles and I need a tranny that can take some abuse

how much are you looking to spend? catuned sells rebuilt units that can probably take some abuse..

also, iirc i think saw a manual transmission at the pick-n-pull in newark.

Correction I don't need one to take abuse Cuz I'm broke I can only spend about 150$ and idk how I would even check to see if the one in Newark is good and I live in Livermore so I don't want to drive out there unless I know I can find out if it's good or not CATUNED is a lot of $$ I'm asking where to find a cheap one
