for those wondering this is what i sent farbin. he said one of the welds snapped clean Im gonna take a guess its where its welded to the rotor. Glad he has the abilities to fix it. I so sad though

Thanks. He said it broke where the rotor and sprocket were welded. I had a sneaking suspicion this would happen as getting good penetration on a brake rotor with a mid grade MIG welder is kind of difficult haha

Im not a professional welder, but I have had to get penetration with a mid range MIG welder before and preheating the piece with a propane torch really helps a lot. That way the welder doesnt have to do the job of heating the metal up and can spend all its energy penetrating into the piece.

I got this sweet BMW sign from Cabriolet along with a promise to take some great pictures of one of my rides or projects. What an epic gift!
