I kinda thought about the sub forum idea, this way.

If I was to make a road trip to say utah?, I would be like this is the route I'll be taking, so if anybody wants to shoot the shiet or grab a beer along the way, let me know. Then those of you along the route post up and say I'm in so-n-so town, pm when you're around.

There's already a map started somewhere on here from a year or two back. Don't much care to look for it on my phone, but it was started for the same reason

This could be set up much better:

It will have better architecture and be more usable if you set it up as a "singular" database. (can't remember the correct word)

Redid the format with this in mind.
