    Car Shipping

I was wondering if anybody had a rough estimate of some shipping costs from WA to KS.

And, what are the good companies out there? I did a google search and found a ton of places, just didn't know if anybody had some personal experience with them.

MO to ID is $1300 uncovered, $1800 covered pretty much across the board.

okay im going to save bandwidth and post my thread in this thread i just hope people look in here.

I was wondering if anyone knows how much it would cost to get an E30 shipped from Orange County CA to Tacoma Washington?

I got a quick estimate of like $600 but i hear its a bit cheaper then that but again im not all that sure.

Sorry to jack your thread kyle.

Its cool Ryan. I got my quote from A to Z transport for only 925 bucks. Im seriously considering this as an option, as my bumpers from OR can probably be put in the car to ssave shipping.

If you havent done so Ryan, do a google search and you will find a bunch of transport sites, most with free quotes.

I shipped my 928 from Florida to CA for about $995. It was an open transport (i kinda regret it, but everything went well).

The car got here in less than 2 weeks. I was really impressed with the shipping vehicle. Each car was on is own movable platform that could be moved up or down to get to the cars in the back. That way, the driver didn't have to drive each car everytime he needed to get one of the "rear" ones.

I believe the place was called the car carrier. If you're interested, i can dig up the actual info. If I were to ever ship a car again, i would definately stick with them.
