        "en engrish por favor?"

"engrish" is poking fun at asian people with an accent, who might happen to occasionally say "R" instead of "L" so rion instead of lion, etc. Obviously por favor is spanish for please. "in english please?"

far more commonly used to make fun of Americans from the south with their odd "dialect" of English. the por favor was thrown in for flavor

Engrish is a play on the awful Japanese mis-translations.

no i think your pretty wrong. Ive never in my life heard southern people being made fun of for saying engrish instead of english. And I cant tell you how much I hear japanese being made fun of for it. I think its something to do with the fact that they dont say "L" in their language (I could be wrong). Either way watch 4 seconds of team america or any movie where the poke fun of asian accents..

I know all about that. I went on a schoool trip to Japan and they made a welcome poster in english for us and one of the words was spelled with a number 7 in it.
