    Junkyard Haul

Did pretty well: windshield, non-cracked dash with 7k vdo cluster (cluster might not work for my car, see discussion here ), driver door (sans glass) and trunk lid for 140$. Rather pleased with myself, as these were all busted up pretty bad in my project car. Trunk lid is so pretty I'm tempted to paint the rest of my car lachs.

yeah that trunk lid is pristine for a junkyard car. You washed it and waxed it no doubt?

nope right off an 88 that had no physical damage to it, beautiful paint, red leather interior (in decent shape, but its a 4-door and I dont like the red seats) The car was hidden in back by a old rusted porsche 924, didnt look like anything but the driveshaft, motor, and transmission had been pulled.

Jeebus. Someone gave up a nice ride then. Probably choked the timing belt off and that was all the engine wrote. If you were closer I would visit the lot and pull the valance as I need one right now.
