    Either an 89 325i manual, no airbag, plastic bumpers and standard ellipsoid lights, or a 91 318is. I think those are the two most popular years/cars.

    Can't believe no one has suggested an ix yet. Specifically a 1988 325ix. Hands down the most valuable car (if you live anywhere that has snow/seasons), and it came with all the options. Don't forget those sweet sweet ix flares and basketweaves

    Canadian M-Tech 2 Vert. No airbag stock, all the late model goodies, plus a drop top for cruising.

    318is for the hard driving though.

    It is really all about the condition of the specific car rather than the year or model, but all else being equal, in stock spec, anything with "is" on the end.
