Hey just wondering if anyone knows if this fella is doing ok or not. I bought some springs from him about a month back and he never sent them. He stopped answering emails, but had mentioned something about him being in and out of the hospital, so I’m just wondering if anyone knows if he’s ok or not. I know he’s a reputable seller, so I’m not trying to damage any reputations here. Just wondering what’s up :)
Sorry if this is not the right forum, but I figured that I would have the best shot of finding someone who knew his whereabouts here.

Myself and other buyers have purchased mtech kits and wheels from Max, and we are still waiting for a solution for the MANY issues that have come during the sale. I started with Max on a few small items, which in all, went well. The next time around, I decided to step it up with Max with a couple of mtech kits, wheels, and other little stuff. So in other words, lots of money involved, not to mention body shop time which had its own time window. Well, the items did not arrive as promised, some items damaged, others completely wrong, and some items he said he sent out, but actually never did..... Completely thru off my schedule on converting my IS to MTECH2. I was promised a set of Euros 15'' 5 months ago and just received a set of IX wheels that are useless, not to mention 2 are bent, and where is the rest of my gear? He does not care, and hopes stuff like this will just disappear. There was a time he just stopped responding to IMs or emails too. I know that the other buyers involved are not taking this lightly and are pursuing further avenues. I have Pmd, Imd, and emailed- some responses here and there, but no continued communication from his end to resolve the problem. In a few months or so, it will be 1 year since we first started this transaction. I have been more than patient on the matter and now am finally completely upset over the whole matter. Max, I know you will read this and you know what the right thing to do is. Dont forget that the people you f***ked over here are not 17 year old kiddies depending on daddy's wallet. We are the dads with the wallet and our patience is running thin. Did I mention the suprise with customs? There were sooooo sooo many issues, the wait, broken promises, false shippers, extra fees, and then getting the wrong items, broken stuff, lack of Max owning up, and then just the wasted time. Takes all the pleasure and excitement away, and then you're left with a "lot rock" of a project.

I am not going to comment on karzrtoyz post - as I am not sure about that situation. I tried to help smooth thatone over - looks like it isn't done yet. FWIW, I will see if I can get with max about these deals.

FYI - the guy has a lot on his plate right now. Not making excuses for him, but he has a lot to deal with of major importance.

Again, I will see if I can get with him about all of this stuff.

Im in the same boat as kartoyz. Its not of great importance (set of lights as a trade that were damaged in shipping and returned to him), but I would like to see it resolved. I also believe ive been patient for the past 5 months. I hope everything is okay, and in time will work out.

Damn, you're part of the 5+ month club too !!! Well, lets just say... when you think you've seen it all, something like this will come along and to test one's personal tolerance and patience. And if Max's personal issues are so critical, then its obvious that he should immediately stop-and review his current situation. We all have problems or issues that get slung in our direction. I just survived a ugly, ugly divorce this past year, and there is nothing worse that I can imagine a man can go thru. I rather be shot by a firing squad or sit and burn with Dante than to go thru another mental hell divorce. And you dont see me " dropping the ball" in business or in the community. If Max's personal life is producing such personal hell that is affecting his business and character, I can understand the frustration produced by them. But you need to " Man up" and realize that now you are affecting everyone around you. Its sad, in the begining, the transactions were beyond my expectations. However, somewhere down the line, everything has lost its focus. There have been a large number of forum members who have been burned lately by Max. And the resolve to the issues were basic at start, but for whatever reason, have grown to a REAL problem.
