    Junkyard Today!

So I'm going to ge heading to a junkyard that my cousin always goes to for his e30. He says its a european only yard, so I have my list of things I'm going to try to find. How does this sound?

    -e36 window switches
-basketweave center cap (i'm missing one)
    -is front lip
    -electric sunroof parts
-shift knob and boot (i have a crappy set right now)
    -13 button obc
-side skirts (either e30 or possibly e36)

these all depend on if i can find them how much i can practically steal them for. anything else i should try to look for? also, w/ side skirts, how exactly are they held on, so that way i know how to take them off.

    :(^SOLD^:(

yea i was reading on the diy e36 window switch retrofit that it needs to be the blue or white base. is this because it can't be the one-touch switches? also, i noticed that on my dads e36 318ti its not one touch. is this what i should be looking for? wat other models of the e36 should have the right switches?

      :(^SOLD^:(

I got mine from a four door, they need to be BIG bases, not the tiny square bases. Mine are white, they work fine. Don't forget to pick up the switch frame/molding as well.

sideskirts have clips at the very bottom of the rocker, 2 in the back wheelwell, and clips along the top you have to pop out

if you found some i'd be amazed, they're pretty rare

if you want to buy some otherwise, I happen to have a set for sale

Unless you get really lucky, the chances that you'll find a basketweave cap, IS front lip, and a better shift knob than your current one are very slim.

The IS lips fetch good $$, and they're rare as it is on cars on the road. For you to find one at a junkyard would be pretty amazing, IMO.
