Has anyone used this stuff. I just removed my pinstripe and i need to get the extra glue that was left on the car off. Is this stuff ok to use on the paints surface.?? thanks

I've used goo-gone on my paint with no ill effects, goof off is probably not any different, I dont know for certain though

Googone is citrus based and goofoff is more caustic. I would definitely test a less conspicuous area. I used goofoff to get rid of those airbag-death warnings on cloth visors on my e39 though with good luck.

yeah jsut dont let it sit on there long. sthe solvents can destroy the clearcoat.

Also, re-wax afterwards, as it will strip your wax off.

I used goof off for my pin stripe removal, just don't go crazy with it and rub too hard, it's fine, wax afterwards to blend.

I think goo gone would be a little safer.
              But both will work...
