    318is to 325is

    Hey guys doing a m20 swap in my 91 318. Looking into the electrical aspect of this job. Just wondering if its very hard to wire? Im still looking through threads just seeing if anyone has insite for me before i embark on this.

      I would. But this is a fresh m20 and the m20 is a great engine hands down. Also its a huge upgrade from the m42b18 engine which is also a great engine.

        +1 on going m5x
        m20 is a bit better than the m42 but in the long run it will get a bit boring. Sell the m20 and buy a cheap m50, it will be worth it (this is from experience)

          If you got the M5x route, do it right. I'm looking into this right now because of the fact my M20 is toast.
