Just out of curiosity, has anyone had to move a vehicle that only had 3 wheels? What makes it more complicated is the fact that the missing wheel is the front left one.
The front end of the car is stripped down to the point of only having the front right corner being intact. No engine, no transmission, no drive shaft. I realized that I am never going to work on the car if it is sitting on the side of my house tucked away.
I need to pull it out from behind a fence and then move it 180 degrees on not quite a flat driveway. As you are staring at the garage (which is where I want to put it in front of), the drive way slopes down from the left to the right and has a dip front to back.
I have a 4 ton (I think) floor jack that I can place under the engine cross member, but I am not sure how to secure it. The other option I see is that I can build a dolly out of a couple 2"x12"s and 4 casters and set the engine cross member on that. Oh yeah, will be doing it solo.
Any thoughts?
