If you were to find one, in say the yellow pages, you may find crafty wording such as 'auto salvage' or 'auto recycle' not 'junkyard.' The word in itself if even muttered in a southwest Florida public venue is reason for arrest. However, 'scrap yard' is an acceptable word often used by businesses that buy wrecked and old cars in order to sell the parts for scrap.
