    R3vlimited leather belts discussion.

I have contacted James(owner of site) and he gave me the green light to produce official R3vlimited belts, upon doing so I contacted a few stamp makers and collected prices on our logo(upper left hand) this includes the car outline and text. Price for the custom logo is nearly 300.00 SO....I am seeing if there is enough interest in getting the stamp made to produce them for our forum! The r3v logo will go in place of the normal BWeiss leaf logo.
**end of the tip to show when worn**

R3vlimited Belts: 60.00+ shipping and 10% of sales go right back into the site.

I offer 4 finished colors from W&C tannery out of PA, they have been in business since 1867!

This photo is ONLY to show what buckle they come with.

    Is that the only buckle?

I updated the first post with a photo of a belt with the buckle they come with.

I am assuming CCW is: Carrying a Concealed Weapon
If so the answer is HECK YES! the leather is 12-14oz and 10-12oz(black) it will NEVER roll or pull apart. I also forgot to mention I do all my belts as a custom sizing, you measure and I fit the belt to YOU and then another size to when you would carry a gun.

You might try contacting a machine shop about making a stamp. CNC milling the logo into a block of steel should be way less than $300.

Thank! I did some numbers and I only need about 7 people to make this happen, I would love to see 10 to get this going though.

This is no ordinary stamp; it is a chunk of brass that is attached to an electric branding iron that heats the metal up and get pressed into the leather.

                thanks man!

I have been doing a bit of research and I figure I can just use a torch on a chunk of steel with an arbor press to do the same thing(rule out the expensive branding tool).
I do the same process for oil-tanned leather items that I make, I just heat up my leaf stamp on the stove and press it down for a bit.

brandon have you every considered doing a double layered belt?? For a bit more rugged use and lends it self to heavier belt loads with very little stretching over time??? I know this prolly the wrong thread to mention it in.

Not the wrong thread, but most belts are a very light weight where my belts are nearly 6mm thick...I COULD run them through the sewing machine and make a 10-12mm thick belt if someone desired it. I know this is a thing for hunters and guys that tend to carry things on their belts with hunting or hiking etc.

I stand behind one of my belts in a 1-3/4 or 2" to handle anything a hunter could ever latch on there. They will not roll over or bend :) I know most belts out there are a thin fake leather with a plastic strip inside the sandwich to make it ridged.

I know there are not many of us on here that would have need for the extra strength but its good to know there is another option out there when my Filson double finally gives up on me that I have had for more than decade now. Since flison has been cheaping out on the buckles and the ability to change them in the last few years when these are wore out you know who I am coming to ;)

My X frame (hiking bear deterrent ) is about 4lbs unloaded btw lol and with 5 Federal 300gr vital shocks its a bit over 4.25 lbs all by it self and its not the only thing on my belt

Any other buckle choices? Or what are the specs on that one? Cobra type with leather?

I am currently working on a master in wax that I am getting made up for my official buckle, so for now I am thinning out my normal ones that are solid brass with a nickel finish.

They are for a 1.5" wide belt.

Didn't know what Gustin was till I saw your post. I've been looking for a real pair of jeans for a long time that didn't cost over 200, and I'm really interested to see if their business model works out. My girl thinks I'm crazy for dropping 100 bucks on some Italian denim, but I did it anyways and now we wait...

OP I'm interested but I would like to see the 1.5" width version with your new buckle before making a commitment. I think the belt/buckle in the picture is too wide for me. Also, what size will the stamp be? Thanks!
