That is not actually bad. When you take into consideration the cost of getting seats reupholstered very very nicely. You already have the fabric. I say at the end of the day you spend $4k with doors panels included.

Maybe you can get a 1 series owner to through down. Try S14.net. Go where the money is. Most people on R3v already have plans for the next $2k in car budget that comes their way, I know I do.

I have read that getting the m-tech stuff reproduced it's like $99 a yard, which seems more reasonable considering you're looking at $500 a yard.

Yep that's what I was quoted at was 100 a yard. The problem is it take up to two years for the company to produce it.

Best get on it. That gives people time to save up. I'm not sure how many people want to wait 2 years on a group buy.

$100/running yard is cheap. The last of the M-Tech reproduction cloth just sold, and the asking price was $300/running yard. If you produce enough of it, I think you could get ~$150-$200 yard once it's in your hands. 50-100% investment in 2 years isn't bad at all if you can tie up the money.
