never seen that before. Is it in permanently or only when you're going to have the top up for an extended period, ie winter time? It's expensive regardless. :down:

from the german translation, it seems that it removes in some fashion (velcro?) for stowing the top. Yeah, I wish someone had one in the states so we could have a pattern to recreate it here for something reasonable.

I almost got it for with my new top I just put on in January. Mine was only going to be $150 added on to the bill. If I knew they were that expensive I would have added it.

so, was the 150 deal from a US shop/seller? I'm curious to know if it was a custom option just from the shop that did yours or the exact german one from the link.

The shop that did my top imported the top from a german seller and the person that made the tops, it was his option. I also got a smoked rear window.
