    best E30 repair manual

    Hi All,

I have had a few E30's and know the basics of the car and etc... but I am not a mechanic, but I am handy, and I would love to work on my car myself.

what is a good manual that I can use??? I know the internet is available, but I would prefer a book...

    thanks!

Bentley. This is an easily searchable question, and highly talked about.

if you prefer a book pick up a bentley. It's also downloadable if you search for it, i printed it out 4 pages per sheet, 2 sided and it came out to about 200 sheets. Easier for me to handle and still readable for me.

Bentley, hands down. Plus when you do searches, and find good DIYs/Threads, bookmark. I got a pile that I've organized into general groups based on type of work.

I like the 101 Projects for your BMW book to get started. Bentley and Forums are great too.
