Nope only in the big cities; Houston, Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, etc. If you live in an unincorporated part all you have to pass is the safety part of the inspection. So, if you're moving to Sugar Land you might only have to do the safety part, if not, you can find someone to pass it for between $80-$100 (reg. inspection w/ emsissions is $35 I believe).'88 325

we used to have a vet test in ky, it was only like $15, but all tey did was look fgor a cat , do a pressure test, and an exhuast test. What is the safety inspection? I think we did it by county here, so going to sugarland , I should be ok then..?90is, longtube headers/straight pipe/mark d 18# 93 0ctane chip/18# injectors/vogtland springs/bilst. sports

Shit man...moving to houston in April...ouch. Just in time for the heatwave to kick your ass. Houston Humidity is brutal. If you've ever wondered what its like to step outside and start sweating immediately you wont have to wonder for too long. I hope your AC is cold as hell. If not, keep a towell and some extra shirts in the e30 :) so you dont end up like "that sweaty guy".tasty

Most likely you'd be living in Fort Bend County, so I would check with someone that lives out that way, maybe the guy with the M3 and the e34 think his name is Brodee. The safety inspection is basic shit, do your brake lights work, to the tires have tread, do the signal lights work, and are the windshield wiperblades not cracking.'88 325
