e36 94 -325is no speedo and fuel guage

My daily driver needs help?
I have tried replacing the cluster, replaced the diff speed sensor, checked for wire breaks from cluster to gas tank and everything looks ok. Problem occurred after a jump start from a tow truck directly to the battery terminals.
Any ideas please?

Check your fuses...in an e30 there are two fuses powering the cluster, since both of your left gauges aren't working that's where I would start. Good luck.
