    Buying and Transporting

What are some opinions on the most cost effective way to transport a car 1,000 miles? There are a few minor quirks with the car, but it is solid mechanically. In the end I haven't found any real way cheaper than 1,000 bucks. Thanks!

I'm currently having a car shipped from California to Michigan, over 2300 miles, for $750. I'm using Montway Autotransport.

fly in one way for 350-500 bucks, drive it back, your going to have about 100 bucks in fuel and a little bit for food over a couple of days and 40 bucks for low buck hotel..... All in you should be able to get it done for no more than 700 bucks but likely much closer to 500
