Audi on the Bay, possible scam?

Is getting a carfax report even worth it on this? My friend really wants this but I'm really suspicious of it... Anyone know anything about it?

    Thanks,
    Brendan

ITS A SCAM, 100% not his car, just trying to scam someone out of a couple thousand. Really low price is the first thing, second he doesnt want anyone to contact him thru ebay, third doesnt explain where the car is even located.

also watch out for scams like this one too...http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1995-...QQcmdZViewItem

The only thing going for him is that he says you only can pay in cash or cashiers check so atleast you will be there so kick his ass when he says its not his car

Only one thing, though...... Audi A4s go through the auctions for shit money, and honestly, a 98 A4 with 79k would only do maybe 4k at auction. Its def a scam, but really, A4s are a lot cheaper than most people think.

The listed poster of the auction, libertymom44, only buys totes and hand made quilts. I'm sure she's big into the A4 tuning crowd. :p

I think she got her ebay profile stolen from the guy that is "selling" the car

Should I be reporting this to ebay or should I just let them handle it?

I contacted the seller and this is what it said. I asked for a number and address to see the car. Nothing about seeing the car or how to contact other than email.
