Just a reminder - please don't PM me requests. I don't look anywhere but this thread when I'm online decoding. Also - I don't/won't be able to provide service history info. Just VIN decoding. Thanks!

Thanks for the vin info, I picked this car up two weeks ago and it's pretty cool to see that it's one of the very last e30's ever made.

Want to make my day? then please run : VIN # wbabb2315lec22642

The reason i ask is becasue the PO didnt give me anything, and my mechanic realized it had an auto to manual swap. He also noted some sort of bracket on the rear. dunno what that was about.

    Thanks!

Funny, I was itching to bolt my Borbets back on the other day, but held off because I just know we'll get some freak spring snowstorm within days if I do. Wouldn't be the first time....

    Anyway, could you run:

    EC68971

    This one might be interesting:

    8752856

    Greatly appreciated my friend. Thanks!

Also I noticed the options on the Baur are in german.
I used Altavista babblefish to translate..
WAERMESCHUTZGLAS GRUEN, RUNDUM = GLASS FOR PROTECTING AGAINST HEAT GREEN, ALL AROUND

    LM RAD/SPEICHENSTYLING = LM WHEEL/SPOKE STYLING
It has BBS wheels so Im guessing thats what this means..

the other one I can understand.. RE power antenna.

Very cool.. I do also have a LSD.. I wonder if that was added later.?

I am finding e30 ETA cars down here for under a grand every few months. I just picked up 2 for $500 for the 24 hours of Lemons race in July..
So if your looking for a winter ride let me know.. Yea I know winters almost over.. but I can keep my eyes open for next year..

I grew up in Mich.. so I know about the salt.. I always took my 67 Mustang off the road for the winters, I drove a Gremlin one winter, a cougar and a diesel rabbit after that. Then I moved to FL.. and now the worse decision i need to worry about is what to drive in the rain. OK and avoiding old people in caddys..

Sad to say, the E30 is the daily driver for me. I've driven it two winters in Ohio salt and snow - and it has always been an Ohio car all its life. I do take the Kopis off and use the stock bottlecaps during the winter months. It was 60 degrees the other day and i got spring fever and put the Kopis back on - it looked so much better... then it snowed the next day! :(
