    e30 pricing (slicktop 318is)

I have been out of the e30 games for about 4 years now..

I recently have gotten the bug for another so i have been searching all over for something i could start with.

I came across the 91 318is slick top near me..To me its priced quite high based on what it is..

Just curious if e30s have gained a lot of value over the last few years or if I'm missing something.

Below is the link for the car in question. He said bottom dollar he will take is 4000$

well, it certainly needs a lot of work. that rear valance is probably zender or bbs. the theory of it is good but its execution is total shit. it looks like a trashbag hanging off the back of the car. it'd be nice to find the front to complete the kit. the driver's seat is shit. paint looks pretty good? i would say that it is probably worth about 4k on a good day assuming the paint is nice. coming from ga means no rust? it is certainly no steal however, i bet it would sell for this much or more on ebay pretty easily.

if i were you, i would buy the car with the best paint job that i could find within my budget. unless you can do it yourself, a decent paint job will cost you north of 3k.

That Zender rear valance really does looks awful without a matching front.

Ok yes I agree the rear bumper looks terrible without a matching front.. The chassis has 250k so I'm assuming the trans and diff have about the same.. So it seemed high to me..

And e30s e34s are hard to find here in north central Florida at a decent price..

Walk away. The interior is mint except for the driver's seat?? The steering wheel also looks like crap. The car does not look well taken care of. Spend around $7,500 for a much better car. You will save money in the long run.

three years ago maybe... assuming the paint is nice, it is worth more than this.
