who the hell cares about gas mileage? these are sport sedans, not appliances. :P

I care. Mainly from the perspective of our culture of conspicuous comsumption. The SUV drivers aren't bothered by mileage either. They have their rationalizations down pat, too. Then there are the guys that commute to their office jobs in pick up trucks. Hell, they can afford the gas, so why not?

The point is, we have every legal right to drive less efficient vehicles, but at some point, we need to take responsibility for their greater fuel use, and emissions.

I'm not trying to preach or be a drag! Just the opinion of a crusty, old bike commuter/courier who's sucked down enough exhaust fumes for several lifetimes! :)
