Checking out some RD wheels, did they ever make any fakes?

i'm going to be checking out some RD wheels tomorrow and was wondering if they ever made any replicas? are there any ways to tell if they are authentic? just curious, thanks.

Many companies make knock off wheels. Im not sure how to tell if theyre knock off or not but I can tell you that many companies make wheels that look exactly like other wheels. Maybe there might be a number in the casting of the wheel that you can check with RD but like I said I dunno.
