ZF4HP22 Worst tranny ever!!!

I just hate this transmission. I am on my second one in my e30 and i absolutly hate it. My frist had no leaks whatsoever and no problems until the usual "A pack" clutch failure. At the time i didnt have enough to do a g260 swap so i found an other Zf on craigslist from a local and he had it removed from his mtech 2. And the car read 70,000 miles. He said it had no problems he inly took it out because he did a 5 speed swap. And he did. 4 months in this transmission has been leaking everywhere. Yesterday i noticed i was low on fluid i refilled it and i think i might have refiled it a little too much. Its gushing out from the back but the seal and shaft dont look wet. Its leaking bad enough that it smokes alot from dripping o the cat... Could it be from the vent hole? Need some help guys

they are actually pretty well built and sturdy automatic 4 speeds.

Yea thats what i was thinking but i am scared of the seal. But that vent is there to prevent the seal failure
