    Porsche performance division?

I know there's a Porsche performance division, like M sport for BMW, but whats the name of it?
    Gone but not forgotten.

Its not really a performance division.... more of an independent company I believe... but I think you're talking about RUF?

Ruf is completely independent from Porsche. Same goes for Gemballa, Strosek, etc. (Gemballa are fucking AMAZING)

But to quote AJ, it's called "Porsche"

There is no division. Like mentioned earlier, there's tuners like RUF, but they're modified enoguh to the point where they're not really considered original Porsches. Porsche IS its own performance division.

RUF is an independant manufacturer. Each car recieves its own VIN number upon the complete build up. Of course there are knock-offs (like me) who simply stuff RUF's things on their Porsche because they realise it's a way cool car, but they can't afford the complete package.

Porsche does indeed have a true Porsche division. In fact Porsche has 5 seperate wholly owned companies within its corporate walls.

Porsche R&D Center located in Weissach, Germany. They are the motorsport division of Porsche. Carrera GT/GT3 etc. all come out of here.

In fact, they're hiring a shitload of people right now.

The center in Weissach does work on lots of cars, not just the supercars
