    dyno'd the cabrio!

    woohoo

can someone do the math and fix the gear ratio so I have correct numbers?

    otherwise:
    146.5whp@5419rpm
    154.4lb-tq@4219rpm

    EIGHTY EIGHT DEGREES OUTSIDE
    R.I.P 07/01/09 - 04/23/10 :(

So what does that equate to at the crank, i.e., what's the percentage of driveline loss?

Not too shabby! Looks like solid horsepower, torque looks jumpy, it'd be nice to see your AFRs for the run. Anyway, for gear ratio correction, it doesn't matter, the dyno puts varying load on your engine, the ramp rate will correct for any ratio I believe. Thats why you can dyno in 3rd or 4th gear and have the same numbers.

For drivetrain loss, you'd get 186ft-lbs and 176.5bhp (WHP/.83)=BHP for 17% drivetrain loss is what I usually calculate.

Doesn't the top of the sheet say flywheel power and torque?

I just Dynod my car. I ended up with 146whp with filter, and 151whp with out filter.

I stopped by the shop during my lunch break and asked the same guy that dyno'd my car. He told me that it's just an editable title line and they never bothered with renaming the title.

Exactly. Don't think anyone else caught this, or knows the difference.

Those numbers are not nearly as impressive once you factor in how much higher Dynapack's read.

It depends heavilly on how you did the test on the dynapack. For this particular car, figure 5-10rwhp for removing the wheels. 135-140rwhp is still a good strong motor. I hate the fact that dynojets are the "de facto". I personally would never use one to tune a car with.
