    about to buy a 325is, where do i get parts???????

    i should be getting an 89 325is soon, and i wanna start looking around for parts, but i dont know where to look.

    wheels, suspension, a front lip where do i find this stuff?
    and a chip also, what is the best one?

    any suggestions or info or experiences or links with any of the different brands would be really helpfull for me seeing as how im a total bmw noob.

    thanks for any help! ;)

        so what about chips, what the best (proven)?

            Chips - Jim C. Try source a used one if you can.

            Susp. - Eibach Prokit, H&R cup kit, Ground Control. (In Ascending Order of cost and Quality). Your choice of shocks and struts to match = Bilstein or Koni Brands.

              so the H&R cup it is about $700 and it doesnt say how low it is,
              the groundcontrols are 399 + shocks and lowers 0-1.75

              anyone haave experience with either?

                The more you get into auto-x and track events the more you would wish for GCs. Its just like that. Bear in mind that someone with stock suspension with good skills will beat someone with GCs anyday. After a certain point its skill and not accessory.

                H&R cup kit + sways = $$
                GCs done right don't need sways.

                GCs = :twisted: from experience

                  they seem like they would cost the same... after you buy shocks for the GC's am i wrong?

                  does anyone have experience with the cup kit?
