    Guten Parts

Anyone order online from Guten Parts? I was going to order something and my computer warned me that their security certificate was expired or that they did not have one and it may be someone trying to capture my information? Anyone else have that experience?

It looks like their SSL certificate expired a couple days ago, I'm sure they'll have it fixed shortly.
They are a reputable shop, I would buy without worry.
If you have issues you can always email Levent, the owner.

Levent is a good guy. He found a set of euro H&R springs for my touring for me. They are good people.

Levent is the man. No worries ordering from him. He has a shop that pretty much works on E30s exclusively with a full time mechanic. So aside from parts (used and new), he is always available for technical advice as well.

Order without worry, I've been great friends with Levent (owner and operator of Guten Parts) for over 10 years now. You can always email him directly if you have questions.

Personal friends with Levent the owner, he is nothing but one of the most upstanding members of our community and I have spent money there on parts. He is awesome.

As the others say, shop worry free. Guten Parts is in a league of their own.

Levent from Guten is a great guy and a true enthusiast. I've stopped into his shop a few times when i've been in the area, and bought some stuff from him. I always wind up staying an hour or more and talking cars with him.

Okay step back for a second. IF there is a security certificate issue that indicates a security problem, no matter how good Levent is (and he is a great dude) that still an issue.

I would call them (he always picks up) and order over the phone or ask about the problem.

PCI compliance is there for a reason; could be a simple 5 minute certificate renewal problem.
