E12 Help

Hey guys, this E12 is 100% original and has 177k miles on it, anyone here knowledgeable about these? I'd like to know what a good price for it would be, it's super solid and could easily be a daily driver, the only thing it "needs" is some upholstery work on the drivers seat and that's it, thanks!

E12s are kind of like E21s. Underdogs and not appreciated. But they are great drivers. Its like driving a big 02. In Calif I suspect thats a 1500-2k dollar car. Up here it may pull 2500 because everything up here is rusted to hell
I bought a pretty solid Florida car 5 years ago for 1500 in similar shape but way worse paint and Im still driving it

They've started going up around here, he's asking 2900 for this one and there's another that's a bit cleaner for 5000 and one more for 4500. I see these going up in value pretty soon because they're getting harder to find and are usually rusted out by now.

I work with RM auctions so I'm usually pretty up on it, the fun part is just assuming I'm right and they do go up rather than down
