Searching R3v for E24 stuff is bound to be disappointing...
The later E24 should have had the Getrag 260/6 drilled for the big 6 (M30) pattern. That's a rare beast you have there - not very many late E24 came with the manual. Save it if at all possible!
There were two other manuals installed in a few different versions. The early cars had the rugged Getrag 262 4-speed, then the 265/5 5-speed. The close-ratio 265 "dog-leg" was also an option during those years. Then the lighter 260/5 was installed. Those ended up with some synchro problems AFAIK, so the 265 came back for about a year. Finally, the improved 260/6 ended the run.
