yea they look darned fugly w/o bumpers
dont remove your bumpers unless you plan on swapping to euros or plastics...
you can tuck them suckers if you hate them that much theres a write up somewhere on this forumOriginally posted by ebelementsAlso, for those who don't know, negative camber is the greatest thing since sliced bread(panera). Even tire wear is for city busses and the elderly.

i drove around without bumpers for a month... no problem (there was a problem getting the plastics and i had already sold the alu) I just used the appropriate and signals mentioned in teh DMV handbook to replace blinkers whenever i saw a cop and i never had issues. fyi: left hand out window for left turn, left hand pointing up for right turb. __ left and |_ right... if that makes any sense.

OK, Kalifornia state law, here ya go, from http://www.dmv.ca.gov/pubs/vctop/d12/vc28071.htm
28071. Every passenger vehicle registered in this state shall be equipped with a front bumper and with a rear bumper. As used in this section, "bumper" means any device designed and intended by a manufacturer to prevent the front or rear of the body of the vehicle from coming into contact with any other motor vehicle. This section shall not apply to any passenger vehicle that is required to be equipped with an energy absorption system pursuant to either state or federal law, or to any passenger vehicle which was not equipped with a front or rear bumper, or both, at the time that it was first sold and registered under the laws of this or any other state or foreign jurisdiction.
