    Picking up a red '86 325i 4 door with 250,000miles for $500. Any advice or suggestions before i get into restoring this beauty?

        i don't see a ton of rust so assuming it runs and drives, it was probably a good deal. likely well bought at that price.

          Looks like potential... does it run?
          5spd with LSD?
          Change the timing belt and water pump, oil and filter... then DRIVE it!

              Start here, plus changing the other major fluids (diff, tranny, rad, brake fluid).

              Then go from there.
