    Is Car-part.com reliable?

Are the parts on car-part.com reliable and okay, or am i just going to get some damaged parts with 100k+ miles? Im specifically looking at z3 racks.

It's just a north american junkyard database.

You'll have to see the part in person and see if they offer any warrenty to be sure.

What he said. It really depends on the place as carpart is just a database.

i bought an oilpan off of car part.com and had a great seller. but like everyone said its only a data base of junkyard inventories, so the sellers will be many different companies.

I looked up m30's on there, and it showed one at a near by junkyard. When I got there it had been LONG removed from the car. It makes me think they they offten add parts to their inventory, but forget to remove them when it sells.

(call first - then look at it)...

              ...

damn, none of these places are really near me (wash, dc) so i cant inspect myself. Ill just avoid the $85 ones and drop $200-$300 on it.

BMR wanted as much as a reman.

Some of these shops offer warranty programs ie warranty for 6 months or a year depending on the parts.
