    BBS wheels

Can anyone tell me anything about these BBS wheels? They came off an e28 and they're BBS. Thinking 16x8 or 15x7. It was dark when I was looking at the back of the wheel so I couldn't really tell. One still has center cap

That was what I thought but I couldn't really find one that was 5x120. Granted I didn't look super hard

Post in wheel/tire for sale if you don't want to keep them.

Definitely cool wheels, my favorite single piece mesh. They did come in 4x100, but were rare and usually 13 or 14 inch. Not worth a ton in the 5x120 variant, but you should be able to sell them fairly easily at the right price.

What is a good fair price I should ask?

I'm not sure. I don't know what they're going for. Take a look around and see what similar sets are going for and base your price on that.

I wouldn't say they're rare, but they are uncommon. Unfortunately uncommon does not necessarily mean desirable. A lot of the time the 5x120 BBS Mahle wheels are 14", and not overly sought after. For 14", and in the condition that they are in, I would maybe ask $100 for the set. If they're 15", asking around $200 would be fair. The 4x100 versions are what I would call rare; those are worth a little bit more.

Truthfully, I wouldn't bother grabbing them. I see these pop up for sale far too often on MyE28 and BigCoupe by people who see the BBS logo and assume they're worth big bucks, when truthfully, they're not. Also, finding decent 14" tires for our cars is getting tougher, making the 14" versions unappealing.

Kumho might be the last 14" tires for E30.

I just bought a set. Luckily, they'll last 85K miles. So far, I am not impressed with the wet traction.

Well, if you're willing to refinish them, you could probably get a couple hundred bucks from someone who wants them on an old E12, E23, or E24. What is your time worth?
