    Selling a car on eBay

    scenario:

    Sold my E32 at my reserve price to an eBay member with well over 1000 transactions with 100% feedback rating.

    I've asked for a $500 deposit within 48hrs of end of winning auction. I haven't received anything yet (albeit hasn't even been 24hrs)

    Am I overeacting that I would of expected at least a message or email from the buyer? I sent two messages, no replies yet...

    I want to know whether this transaction will infact happen, or if he'll flake out.

    I suspect he wouldn't want to mess up such a good eBay rating....

      Give him a day or two. People have lives and can't always get around to doing thing. I sold my m106 system and waited a full day for payment.

                          Wait the extra day and then file a complaint with negative feedback immediately. What is happening in buyer's life should not concern you. Relist the car. Your instructions were explicit.
