Sometimes I guess you just don't know what you have until your clutch goes...

My throw-out bearing started to go awhile ago and due to time and financial constraints I wasn't able to get my car into the shop until yesterday and therefore have been driving a minivan for the last few months. I picked it up this afternoon and am completely in love. All the annoying clunks and rattles from the drive train are gone and it's such a pleasure to get behind the wheel of a decent vehicle again. There are still a few more things on the list but it's just cool to be back into the land of e30. Anyone feel like a cruise in No. New England sometime? I'm itching to get out!

my car is living on jackstands for the weekend as I do the clutch and drop a light flywheel in, going from a 325i to a lifted toyota pickup(my parts getter and rock crawler) is a HUGE change.

I feel, well, civilized again really. Plus the new clutch has taken care of all the clunks and rattles that were there even when I first bought the car. Brakes and subframe bushings and I'm pretty much set. Yay!

PS: Sorry about the long thread title, I was curious to see how much it would let me get away with...
