hey, just wondering if you had any recommendations for a engine swap in my BMW 318i E30 1989. im going to be driving this car as a daily so the engine must be reliable :)

Well .... howabout a sherman tank radial engine. it'll be very reliable, I highly recommend it.

What's wrong with your M40? It's enough of an engine for one of my tourings, so it ought to be fine for your purposes.Comment

i swapped in a vertical shaft 16 hp briggs and stratton from my lawn mower. its awesome! i routinely roast the tires in third. i highly reccomend it. check out my build thread!!!!sigpic
