Headliner compatibility question

Are the headliner cardboards that go in between the roof and the fabric compatible between 2 and 4 door e30s

Yes same exact car. besides the doors. Just make sure the fabric is new and not used. Tried that once didn't exactly work correctly lol

Thanks, I have new fabric, just need the cardboard and metal rods

Just put a new black headliner in my 90 4-door. There wasn't any "cardboard" just the metal rods.
I got it from CAtuned, Igor said there is actually some small differences between the 2 and 4 door headliners.
