    Nice

If and when you get ready to do the swap on another car, get the detents and 1 gear issue sorted, if it hasn't been done already.

There were 2 recalls on these transmissions. The 5th gear lean being the most infamous. You can live with them both but better to repair them when its off the car.

I'd be interested in how that 5 speed swap goes. I heard because of the EWS they are a pain and usually the CEL is on for those that improvise.
And I f00kin love it! As for the swap, I most likely will not do it on this car, I feel like as a comfortable daily-able M3, it's literally as good as it gets but I will buy another one that's been driven and isn't as clean that I'd have no problem beating on more

Absolutely love the color. Never seen one this color in person. Take good care of her and be sure to get her running in tip top shape!

Yea. Must be why I thought it wasn't an M3. Weird.

Nice purchase sir! I've only seen one E36 M3 in person painted this rare factory color, I like it a lot too. Take care of it - she's a bit of a needle in the haystack.

Thanks for clearing that, I did not even know they were called "M-contours", but here in S.A. they only came out with the E36 328i and never on the M cars. I guess different markets.

OP, I hope you enjoy this car!!!

Those contours though... are more reserved for the lesser non-M cars.

    Like a more refined, heavier, E30 :p
