why are my HR oe sports blue?

Got these in the mail, oe sports for my e30, i thiught they were supposed to be grey?

The spring has 50404-55 on it, so it seems like the right spring, but at the top it says z/t and has an F after the part number. While the grey ones say c/v and have an e after.

Anyone have any insite into what these extra characters mean and why its different?

H&R changes colors all the time. Go by part numbers, NOT COLOR!

And 50404-55 is 100% correct part number for OE Sport Springs

The other characters are date codes and "F" for front.

Yup- color means nothing. Bought a new set of Sports from an R3V member- they were red and I thought they might be race springs- I called H&R directly and they were very nice- sent them pictures of the numbers and they confirmed that they were "Super Sports"- same spring rate as Sports.
