I cant tell by the pic, but i think that one looks like it might go to the top of the radiator? Its been a long time since ive owned a preface lift car. Definitely looks like the end of that hose was attached to an orifice. It is possible since its cracked, the p.o. switched ends.

There is a smaller hose that is the overflow (you can see it by the coil).
I have the other one which goes to the radiator. Unclear by my picture i was referring to the one pointing away from it. Its the shorter one which apparently is supposed to be pointing to the ground
My car is an early model and doesn't even have the hose pointing to the ground. I mean I would say you probably don't even need it but since you already have it that's cool
Oh, that's the overflow hose I believe. My car's a late model and it leads basically along the fender walls and exits somewhere in the middle pointing to the ground. When it spills, the coolant will drip onto the front driver side wheel if that gives you a better picture.
