You just bought the car and I assumed that you looked at it and knew the conditions the car was in. Why do you ask the question of whether to keep it or not? This raises all kinds of questions about the car.

What's up! I just bought this 1990 325i from some dude in Whittier California, he's done some questionable mods like slamming on 17s. Btw this is my first e30.
