    Head bolt question

I'm replacng my headgasket and got torx headbolts to replace my old hex head ones; the torx didn't come with the thick washers lke the ones that were on the old bolts, I still need to use washers right? Should I just use the old ones? Thanks

Uh, im pretty sure your not supposed to reuse head bolts. When you torque them down the bolts strech and once you take them off they are shot.

He's telling him to reuse the washers. THe original poster already mentioned he has new bolts on hand.
