early euro is a win in U.S. You don't see them around too much. Its always good to have something rare. I mean its not the most rare thing in e30 scene but still stands out in u.s market. No need to mention I looks classy and better than plastic bumpers in classic car perspective.Leave a comment:

An early model euro will always be the best looking e30 out there in my opinion. I wish one of mine was an early model.Leave a comment:

^ Wish I could, unfortunately its got an S52 and a $17500 price tag. Not what I'm looking for right now!

Any other thoughts on differences between years? I think I may even like the earlier, thinner tail lights. Another thing I noticed is that I think the crisp lines of the E30 tend to get lost on the plastic bumper cars in darker colors, whereas on the early model cars dark colors like Delphin look great because the lines are broken up by the chrome.Leave a comment:

Yup. Couldn't agree with you more. Early euro cars are the tits. I think they look better than plastic bumper cars. Not that plastics look bad. I love mine but if I could get my hands on a minty euro 323i. Mmmmmmm
Oh and can we also talk about how most of thoes early euro cars don't have abs or power windows. Another +Leave a comment:

Early Euro Model Looking Fantastic
During my current E30 search I've been pretty dead set on the late model plastic bumper cars, but this early model Euro model (for sale on LA Craigslist) has got me thinking otherwise.
...had no idea Euro bumper cars looked so good. Also how 'bout that gray? Never thought it looked great on the plastic bumper cars but it really contrasts nicely with the little bits of chrome. Plastic bumper Brilliantrot vs. early Delphin Euro? Hmmm. Wouldn't be able to split the difference, methinks!
Feel free to post pics representing team plastic bumpers. Right now Euro bumpers are in the lead for me but I'm willing to be swayed. Also curious to hear about visual differences between years.
