I never use the website to order. I email him the part numbers I want and he sends me a payment request, generally within minutes of me emailing him.

For difficult to get Euro parts, I use Schmiedmann. I couldn't find front wheel bearings for my E34 (dat iX life) anywhere in the US, but they had them.

Ditto. I use realOEM/interwebs to do my actual shopping, then collect parts list and email blunt. That way I know for sure I'm getting the right part. And often times I'll tell him, "oh, this part I want OEM or better, and this one, I don't care, give me the cheapest you have"

^^^Exactly. He always emails me with pricing before sending the payment request.

FCP hands down for east coast.

Local dealer can be an attractive option, too.

Because I'm in Canada, dealing with the US online sites is a pain.

Found a parts shop in Toronto, Germanparts.ca, that can get most of what I need to get to keep my E30 running. Cost is reasonable, and they source their parts from OEM companies or equivalent (Lemforder, Bremi, TRW, Conti, etc). Never had any problems with their stuff.

We also have some people in the GTA area who deal in used parts, and again, haven't had issues. You pretty much can't find E30s at your pick and pull yards anymore. :(

I use BMA. Their shop is like a mile or two from my house and you get the part the same day you order it, usually in like 2-3 hours. They've got great service and have a huge variety of parts.

FCP pretty much meets or beats Tischer prices (wholesale) from all the parts I have searched for (OEM, of course FCP offers OE as well). FCP is free ship @ $49.

Tischer charges a local pick-up fee.. lame.

Please, don't use 'em. My secret parts stash.
