    $13,000

Do you think that spending $13,000 on a e30 is worth it . let in mind that this $13,000 includes the cost of the car, motor, the partial rebuild(intake and exhaust valves, connecting rod bolts, head gasket set, thermostate, timing belt tensionar, distributer cap, distributer rotor, pistons),motor and tranny mounts, exhaust system, turbo kit, rims, tires and suspension. im estimating it could be a lil more. :?

power looking to get out of it ranges 100hp to 500hp. and dont think that im going for the 500 hp god knows thats possible for the m20..and i dont want to know!

what car out there right now will give me all this for this price. that have the Power, looks and handling and Reliability(sorta the concern but this will be the good weather, weekend car.) NONE :!:

give me the pros and cons..

my only con is that i will have an old car still. other than that i will have a blast driving the bitch 8)

    give me your input

hopefully you are not paying for labor... if you are, you will probably be able to work out a deal to get an e30, an m50, and someone that'll cut you a deal to drop in the engine for you

          What they all said.

Post 88 E30, and an M50 or S50. That's my plan, for the far future of course.

It pains me to say this, but if you have $13k... go with the Porsche. The 3.0 SC is a bullet-proof tank of an engine. Get the targa... it's the classiest.

And Targa's are ugly as sin, IMHO.

Not ones with no A/C, no sunroof, no undercoating, no power windows, and no power locks. It also has a factory limited slip differential. ;)
Can you say track car straight from the factoreeee. :P

                            Damn!
                            It's like an early clubsport.

That thing is beautiful, by the way... although I've always favored guards.

Yeah, I call it my clubsport prototype.

Thanks for the compliment. I prefer black, so I couldn't be happier. ;)
