I can't wait to start working on my e30 again. Still waiting for the M62 conversion to be completed. I already have the Mtech1 kit sourced and waiting to find the time to go pick it up. I just ordered all of the hardware needed to install the Mtech1 kit. Already have new Euro chrome bumpers and hardware. Things are coming together nicely so far. Bought my wheels/tires, but still need to purchase coilovers and all suspension wear items. Of course I am doing a full color change as well so as soon as I get the car back, I will start a build journal on here. I guess I could take some pictures of my parts so far...
WTB thread.. old timers here may have them. just need to be patient and persistent..
there are also repro fiberglass to get you by until you finally score one.. good luck!!
Thanks man. Im looking hard. But I guess it's good to have them hard to find. Makes the car go up in value when you finally get one. Have fun doing the body work on the bumpers the 3 bottom lines are a pain in the butt to sand.

Do you know anywhere I can find a real oem Mtech 1 spoiler. I have the is spoiler rn. It's the only piece I'm missing.

and you're right - Mtech1s in Germany were only available 86-87, Delphin, Lachsilber or Diamondschwartz. Also looks like the bumpers were painted on those, and you could have houndstooth cloth or leather. Cool they had billies and 15mm lower springs plus the LSD too.
Interesting that the German MT1 brochure shows a technician mounting a red+chrome bumper front apron though. They're talking about a retrofit kit of course.
Live and learn!
Was organizing some stuff and I came across these Mtec specific brake ducts. I also have the plastic plate fillers that go on the front apron. Parts 3-4 on the diagram
Once I get to that stage I will be putting them on.
Go with the pop outs, they are really nice on a warmish day when you don't need to use AC. They look nice too:)
The Sem's paint is the best I have ever used on my car!!
